1. General Information About Rental

1.1 Reservation / Payments
In Kyrenia Harbor Apartments (KHA), you can make your reservation for your stay on our website, provided that you set your vacation dates.
In the first place, you must enter the dates you want to rent the relevant apartment. After completing your online reservation, the availability of the apartment is checked again and the reservation is confirmed.
In the event that your check-in date to the flat you rented in KHA is more than 8 weeks, you must pay 25% of the total price requested for the flat you will rent as a down payment. You have to pay the remaining 75% 2 weeks before your check-in date to the flat you will rent. (Payments are received in advance before entering the apartment.)
If your check-in date is less than 2 weeks, you must pay the total amount of the rental fee.
You can make payments by bank transfer or credit card. There is no installment option for payments.
A minimum of 2 nights accommodation is a must in our apartments. Our prices include use of water and internet.
1.2 Deposit
A deposit of $ 100 (one hundred US dollars) is taken for rentals up to 10 days at the KHA. For rentals from 10 days to 6 months, the deposit is $ 400 (Four hundred US Dollars). For rentals after 6 months, the deposit is a 2-month rental fee. The deposit must be paid 2 weeks before your check-in date to the rental apartment. Our company keeps the deposit on your behalf. If there is no damage to the apartment you rented, the deposit will be returned to our guest within 2 weeks after leaving the rental apartment.
The entity has the right to partially or fully retain the deposit in the following cases:
- Exceeding the electricity consumption limit (limit = daily usage 40kws). Electricity is not included in the price for rentals longer than 30 days.
- Damage to building, balcony or property
- Loss of belongings
- Leaving the villa dirty above a tolerable degree
- Smoking cigarettes, cigars or similar tobacco products in the house
1.3 Flat entrance and exit times
In flat rentals, the check-in time is as of 14:00 pm and the check-out time is until 11:00 am at the latest. During this time, our apartments are cleaned and made ready for our next guest.
1.4 Number of people / Capacity of apartments
The capacity of each rental flat is indicated on the logos on the flat pages. The number of people specified in the reservation is accepted. The company is very sensitive in this regard and does not allow overcapacity. Children over 2 years old are included in the number of people.
1.5 Pets
Unless otherwise stated, pets are not allowed in rented apartments. The deposit will not be refunded if pets are brought.
1.6 Infant / Child items
Most of the rented apartments do not have equipment for babies and / or children. If requested during the reservation, equipment for infants and / or children is provided with an additional fee.
1.7 Equipment of the apartments
There is detailed information about the equipment of the apartments on the web site.
The equipment of the rental apartments is inspected by the business or our representative before the guests enter. If there are any malfunctions that we cannot foresee during the stay of our guests in our rented apartments, they will be intervened within 24 hours.
1.8 Welcome basket
There is a welcome basket in our apartments. The welcome basket contains products such as tea, sugar, coffee and water.
1.9 Towels, sheets and cleaning
Our apartments are cleaned before our guests arrive and all sheets, towels, etc. replaced. Each flat has spare bedding and towels. In case of arrival and departure on the same day our apartments are cleaned between 11:00 am and 14:00 pm, as mentioned.
1.10 Cancellation of reservation by the guest
After you make a reservation in our rental apartments, you are informed about the cancellation conditions in the confirmation sent by us. If you cancel your reservation up to 8 weeks from your arrival date, we will refund 100% of the total rental fee, and if you cancel up to 2 weeks, 70% will be refunded. If you request your cancellation 2 weeks or less before your arrival date, no refund will be made. Your deposit will be refunded under any circumstances.
1.11 Cancellation of the reservation by the business
KHA can cancel your reservation in case of unforeseen natural disasters or technical problems that may occur in rented apartments (problems in the installation equipment of the apartment or electricity and / or water cuts in the region, etc.). In such cases, all payment made can be refunded to our guest, and an alternative apartment is offered to our guest. Our guest can get a full refund or choose among the available apartment alternatives.
1.12 Date change in reservation
You can change the date of your reservation, but it is subject to fee. Reservation change processing fee for flat rentals is 200 TL. This fee is charged due to the workload that will be brought about by the change (sending new forms to our guest, recalculating and re-accounting the price difference that may arise in case of date changes, etc.).
There is no option to change the date 30 days before your check-in date to the apartment you rent. Due to the low possibility of renting the apartment to a new guest within this period, such changes are not accepted.
